I’ll be heading home soon to spend the 4th of July with my family and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m playing in the club 4th of July tennis tournament with my 16 year old sister and plan to sit by the pool with a mojito in hand soaking up the sun after. I recently moved to the mile-high city of Denver and let me tell you… finding a good sunscreen is crucial to beating the power of the sun over here! I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Anthelios sunscreen SPF 60 and have been liking the feel and support it gives. My mom and I actually snagged a lot of the mini travel size bottles at the La Roche-Posay booth at the Miami Open in March and they’ve lasted me this long!
My sisters have already sent a full itinerary of events to keep us busy on the 4th including walks, iced coffee runs, tennis, pool time, hanging out of the back porch, and ending the night with a party of lobster rolls, fireworks, and belly laughs.
We’ll be heading to our lake house on the 5th, which is my absolute favorite place to be. The weather looks like it’s going to be nice, so the weekend should be filled with more quality family time, water skiing, boat rides, sailing (fingers crossed for a little wind), and even more sunset giggles then the night before.
What are your long weekend 4th of July Plans? Let me know in the comments below!

Love your blog! Sounds like a fun 4th of July holiday. Enjoy. My Independence Day holiday will be spent with ALL of my girls, can’t wait. I’ll watch a tennis tournament; play in a cornhole tournament; watch a grand fireworks show; play a round of golf; and hopefully, with some wind, spend a few hours sailing. Can’t wait!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the gardens in the post picture 💗 The clothing mood board is spot on 4th of July 🇺🇸
